RED One
The RED One is a revolutionary new digital cinema camera capable of recording an image grater than 4000 pixels wide -4K. This is more than four times the information recorded in 1080p by the Panavision Genesis, Thompson Viper and Sony F950 cameras, until now the top end of digital cinema. The RED One can record directly to onboard CF flash card or hard drive and has a post production workflow fully supported by Apple’s Final Cut Studio 2.The camera’s modular design can be configured for any shooting situation. A Super 35mm sized sensor combined with a PL mount utilizing industry standard cine lenses allows true 35mm depth of field. With 10½ stops of dynamic range and variable frame rate up to 120 frames per second, the RED One is a viable and cost effective alternative to 35mm film production.
For direct support of our Red One cameras we offer RED specialist DOPs, operators, assistants and digital imaging technicians. REDRAD also has a camera truck with self contained data management workstation.
